ECLIPSE IN ALBANYÀ
Astronomy, music, and family A unique day at the Albanyà Astronomical Observatory, next to TAIGA Bassegoda Park: talks, activities for the little ones, a live concert, and the totality of the eclipse broadcast from the Ebro Delta.

The eclipse, live In Albanyà, the eclipse will be partial, but the totality can be seen live on the observatory screens, with a feed from the Ebro Delta. The maximum occultation of the sun will be at
8:28 PM.
Perseids Night The evening will continue with a special observation of the Perseids with a new moon, under one of the darkest skies in the country. A night to look at the sky in its purest state.

12:00 PM — Talk about the solar system and eclipses (Constellations Room · 45 min)
4:30 PM — Space simulator: we send a rocket to the moon (Ideal for children · Constellations Room · 30 min)
5:30 PM — Water-powered rockets (For children and adults · Camp de l'Illa · 45 min)
7:00 PM — Solar christening: start of solar observation at the Albanyà Astronomical Observatory
8:00 PM — Mandie Rules concert + live eclipse (totality with a feed from the Ebro Delta)
8:28 PM — Maximum occultation of the sun (only visible in the live broadcast from the Delta)
8:45 PM — Break for dinner with the food truck
9:30 PM — Closing of the 2026 eclipse activities
9:45 PM — End of concert
10:15 PM — Start of the Perseids Special with a new moon (night observation under one of the darkest skies in the country)
