5 minutes. Albanyà is just a kilometre from Bassegoda Park. An old village with a lot of history, it is perfect for long walks to discover its cultural and human heritage. It is the entrance to the Alta Garrotxa Area of Natural Interest from the Alt Empordà and to the Albanyà International Dark-Sky Park. Sant Llorenç de la Muga
10 minutes. Sant Llorenç de la Muga is 8 kilometres from Bassegoda Park. It is a Mediaeval village with one of the best preserved historic quarters in the Alt Empordà region and the province of Girona. There are gateways, walls, streets and stone houses, etc. On the banks of the Muga and with very similar surroundings to Albanyà, you will fall in love with Sant Llorenç de la Muga!
