Why this night is unique
Two sky shows in just a few hours
On August 12th, the sun will hide behind the moon and, that same early morning, the Perseids reach their peak. Rarely do both phenomena coincide on a single day, and the Ebro Delta—free of light pollution, with an open horizon over the water—is one of the best places on the peninsula to experience them.
The solar eclipse (sunset - 8:22 PM) Preparatory talk, observation glasses, and two telescopes to look at the sun safely: the photosphere, the chromosphere, and the exact moment of the occultation. You will understand why it happens and how to follow it step by step.
The Perseids (night - from 10:30 PM) We will scan the sky with a laser to identify constellations and shooting stars: Ursa Major, Lyra, Hercules, Ophiuchus, Cygnus, Boötes, or Virgo, as well as star clusters, nebulae, and galaxies through the telescope.
PROGRAM — Hour by hour
- 7:00 PM - Start — Preparatory talk on the eclipse. Fun facts about the sun, distribution of observation glasses, and a first look through the telescopes at the photosphere and chromosphere. We explain how the eclipse will be, why it happens, and what steps we recommend following.
- 8:00 PM - Occultation — The moment of the eclipse. Free time to enjoy the total occultation, at its peak at 8:22 PM, from the rooftop.
- 8:40 PM - Sunset — End of the eclipse and dinner. With the sunset, the eclipse activity ends. Time for dinner before the night session.
- 10:30 PM - Perseids Special — The shooting stars. For one hour, we scan the sky with a laser, identifying constellations and telling their history and fun facts. Afterward, for those who wish, observation via telescope or projection on screen. (Approximate schedule · program subject to weather conditions.)

HOW TO GET YOUR ACCESS — Two ways to experience the night
- Included at no cost - With your premium accommodation: The activity is included for free when booking one of our premium accommodations for that date. - 120 spots maximum - Access is limited: The Bama restaurant rooftop has a maximum capacity of 120 people. Spots are assigned in order of reservation, so we recommend securing yours as soon as possible.
