Why this night is unique
Two sky shows in just a few hours
On August 12th, the sun will slip behind the moon and, that same night, the Perseids will reach their peak. It is rare for both phenomena to coincide on the same day, and the Ebro Delta—with no light pollution and an open horizon over the water—is one of the best places on the peninsula to witness them.
The solar eclipse (sunset - 8:22 PM) A preparatory talk, viewing glasses, and two telescopes to safely observe the sun: the photosphere, the chromosphere, and the exact moment of the eclipse. You will understand why it happens and how to follow it step by step.
The Perseids (night - from 10:30 PM) We will traverse the sky with a laser to identify constellations and shooting stars: Ursa Major, Lyra, Hercules, Ophiuchus, Cygnus, Boötes, or Virgo, as well as star clusters, nebulae, and galaxies through the telescope.
PROGRAM — Hour by hour
- 7:00 PM - Start — Preparatory talk on the eclipse. Fun facts about the sun, distribution of viewing glasses, and our first look through the telescopes at the photosphere and chromosphere. We explain how the eclipse will happen, why it occurs, and the steps we recommend following.
- 8:00 PM - Occultation — The moment of the eclipse. Free time to enjoy the total occultation, reaching its peak at 8:22 PM from the rooftop.
- 8:40 PM - Sunset — End of the eclipse and dinner. The eclipse activity ends with the sunset. Time for dinner before the night session.
- 10:30 PM - Perseids Special — The shooting stars. For one hour, we will traverse the sky with a laser, identifying constellations and telling their stories and curiosities. Afterward, for those interested, there will be telescope observation or screen projection. (Approximate schedule · program subject to weather conditions.)

HOW TO GET YOUR ACCESS — Two ways to experience the night
- Included at no cost - With your premium accommodation: The activity is included for free when booking one of our premium accommodations for that date. Available for purchases made from June 18th. - At reception - Purchase during those days: If you are already staying with us or want to join the activity, you can purchase your tickets directly at the campsite reception. Check the price per person and per child and book your spot while they are still available.
- 120 spots maximum - Access is limited: The Bama restaurant rooftop has a maximum capacity of 120 people. Spots are assigned in order of reservation, so we recommend securing yours as soon as possible.
